Who do you think you are?

Have you ever messed up so badly, that you don’t know how to feel “right” again? In a culture that screams your performance either results in praise or “cancelling”, it is hard to understand the term Grace. Grace is not earned; it is the ultimate display of unconditional love. Yahweh Hessed, God of Forgiveness, wants to make you whole again. You can not out-sin the cross.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we are still sinners, Christ died for us”

– Romans 5:8

Clinging to the dust…

We struggle with understanding that it is not us that can pay the price or right what we have done. Christ has done all the work. Stop clinging to the dust. We think there is comfort in trying to grab the reigns of our life. We think we can handle it on our own.

“My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word!” – Psalm 119:25

Jesus promises life. Freedom from earning forgiveness. It is freely given to a repentant heart. When Jesus is the Lord of your life, you may face trials, but you have the God of Angel Armies fighting for you. Standing beside you. He has overcome it all.

“But I know my Redeemer lives, and, at the end, he will stand on the dust” -Job 19:25

I say you are…

God says you are not unforgivable. God is the Beginning and the End. The Creator of all things. He created you. Do not doubt Him. You are made in the image of God! He says he loves you so much that he sent his son to reconcile you to him. You do not have to win his Love. He has loved you all along. Seek him out, and ask him to help you understand that he does not see your sin when he looks at you. He sees you, beautiful and whole before him. Jesus’s blood covers you, and makes you new. He is the Good Father and He will give you peace and hope beyond the imagination if you remain in Him.

Grace and Peace,

Aquila and Priscilla
