I will make you FISHERS This evening as Tina and I stood on the shores of Lake Murray in Oklahoma and she just kept catching fish, a couple of things came to mind. One was Mathew 4:19, when Jesus said, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men", and Two, the old saying,... Continue Reading →
To ALL People
In the account of the angelic visit to the shepherds as they tended their sheep in the field, we see an often overlooked or misinterpreted truth. The announcement in verse 10 of Luke 2 reads like this. "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to... Continue Reading →

The Unknowable ability of “AVAILABILITY”!
I recently had the privilege of speaking to a group of prime time powerhouses at our church. What I was inspired to talk about is something that I think all of us that have graced this earth for a number of years need to hear. Prime Time I love the term “Prime Time”. It made... Continue Reading →

Who are you, is a question that all of us have dealt with, and must answer at some point in our life. It is not an easy question to answer without... Continue Reading →

I am a continuous improvement professional by trade and a born again believer by choice. I have come to understand that the old adage "It is all about the process" is as true in life as it is in business or sports or anything else we set our hands, minds and focus on. Far too often we place the emphasis on the end result or reward, missing the true learning, which is the actual golden nugget for growth and change for the better.
A Bird in the Hand
Often times, the thing that grabs our attention is a good thing, even a very good thing. The problem of full focus on what is out there lies in what it does to our view of what we have in our hand!
Lessons from Laken!
The moral of the Good Samaritan parable is that God's goodness can manifest in and thru anyone at any time. With that truth in mind there is one more line I want to quote from Mike Donehey's book. In it he says "we need to resist writing off anyone. We can be radically different, but still radically committed."
