Why focus on marriage?

The attached graphic represents the range of women in marriage by state. Texas has a marriage rate of 33 per 1,000 women. For every 1,000 women in the state, 33 of those are in a marriage relationship.

Why is that important?

God designed the marriage relationship between a man and woman to be most fulfilling human relationship on earth, and to represent the “full” characteristics of the Godhead or Trinity. Women possess characteristics of God that men do not, and men possess characteristics of God that women do not, but together we better represent the full attributes of God.

God also created the marriage relationship to represent Jesus and the Church. Our savior and His love and care for us is represented thru the sacrificial role of the husband. The caring, nurturing role of he wife paints a tremendous picture of the church, “the bride” of Christ.

In the U.S., since 1970 there has been a 35+point decline in the average marriage rate. From 76.5 women to 28 women/1,000 in 2021. The focus here is not simply the women. The real issue here is the all out assault on marriage by the enemy. Whether it is divorce, or simply never entering the marriage union. Satan’s attack plan is to destroy the greatest relationship we can experience this side of heaven, and to minimize our impact on the world as the church. Destroy the marital union, cripple the church!

Our hope is that we thru our work and this website can take back some ground from the enemy by restoring hope and faith in the marital union, and our purpose as the bride of Christ.
